Although we share countless aspects of public life together, many of us remain unfamiliar with how both subtle and high-profile acts of injustice deeply impact those around us. This has led to an increasing lack of humanity and understanding as to the frustration, rage, and cynicism of many victims.
Venerable Voice of Change is a blog in response to that deficit of empathy. I have spent years using my legal and public advocacy skills to give a voice to those in need in the name of civil and community service. Today, I hope to lend some of those talents to the social justice and DEI (diversity equity inclusion) conversation with the goal of spreading some much-needed empathy and compassion.
